Liverpool confirmed the signing of teenage sensation Fabio Carvalho who is set to make the move to the Anfield giants from Fulham come July 1.
A report from the club’s official website has confirmed that Carvalho, who was instrumental in Fulham’s return to England’s top flight this season, would be penning terms with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
He is understood to have agreed upon a five-year deal with Liverpool forking out an initial sum of £5 million with an additional £3 million promised in performance-related add-ons to Marco Silva’s Championship-winning Fulham.
Carvalho is rated as one of the most promising talents in world football, someone with huge potential who would be taking his career to the next level when makes the switch to Merseyside this summer, and had some of Europe’s biggest clubs chasing his signature.
The likes of Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain had handed tough competition to Liverpool for the Fulham starlet but Klopp would no doubt be pleased to welcome his new recruit heading into the start of the 21-22 campaign.
