Fresh from the departure of Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool has unveiled a series of new high-profile appointments with a strong FSG influence.
It was Michael Edwards, the new Liverpool CEO at Football, who ultimately was responsible for hiring Richard Hughes as a football director for the club.
The latest development is Julian Ward’s potential return as FSG’s technical director, the role he gave up just the summer before that.
Now the ultimate target of talks is to get Arne Slot to be the head coach. He himself revealed a big news during his latest edition of press conference, implying that the announcement of his plans could happen anytime soon.
With these elements of the game going astray, however, Liverpool just continues to be active in the transfer market as the preparations for a renewed Premier League title challenge next season in the shopping for reinforcements to beef up the strength of their squad.

One such a prominent player is the midfielder Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta having received transfer links this summer.
During the Europa League he previously shone for the club against Liverpool and has indicated his willingness to leave Atalanta this summer.
Media findings show that Liverpool has approached Koopmeiners’ agent to discuss his mutual interest in the upcoming transfer window.
Atalanta are speculated to be requesting a £52m transfer fee for the midfielder, and the same is true for the current Juventus whose eyes are persistently set on him. The fact that Koopmeiners had worked with Arne Slot in AZ Alkmaar earlier could work in Liverpool’s favour too.
Given that Slot, who already entrusted Koopmeiners with the captaincy before his departure to Italy, is aware of his skills and his aptitude to Premier League competition.

Koopmeiners showed in his encounters with Liverpool what a true asset he could become to the Reds’ team of stars. Although Atalanta may not be willing to part ways with him for a discounted fee, the Reds will hope that they reevaluate their valuation to come up with a more agreeable one.
Slot’s nod and Koopmeiners’ past performance make it clear that Liverpool is serious about adding qualities and playing at the highest level.
