Reports from La Nazione ( via Sports Witness) claim that Jurgen Klopp’s side could be leading the race to secure Vlahović’s signing in January but will be required to fork out a transfer fee in the region of €70 million.
The Reds will face a tough challenge from arch-rivals Manchester City who are also understood to be scouting the market for attacking reinforcements after the departure of the long-serving talisman Sergio Aguero in this summer’s window.
Liverpool could find it tough to meet Fiorentina’s demands on the pricing front with Jurgen Klopp likely to play it small in January and hold out for next summer to splash the cash on new recruits.
