Liverpool board are backing the manager Jurgen Klopp despite the club’s horrid form which sees them sit 10th in the Premier League table.
The Reds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Wolves on Saturday at Molineux which has left them 11 points adrift of the fourth-placed Newcastle United and added to fears that Klopp’s men could miss out on Champions League football next season.
Klopp has been pressed upon his future at Anfield in recent weeks with the German coach coming under pressure to steer his side back to winning ways and clinch a first victory in league football for the new calendar year.
According to a report from The Athletic, however, there is no chance that Liverpool’s owners, Fenway Sports Group, will decide to part ways with Klopp who has coached the Merseysiders to Premier League glory in the 2019-20 season and the Champions League trophy in 2018-19.
Klopp has certainly led the club to dizzy heights and emerged as a transformative figure since his arrival in October 2015 and a large section of the Liverpool supporters remain firmly behind him during a testing time for the manager and his players.
