Liverpool commited in the chase for Bayern Munich starlet Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala’s breakdown of contract extension talks with Bayern Munich has attracted attention from a number of top-flight clubs in England, one of whom is Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC.

The 17-year-old starlet has been unable to sign on improved terms with Hansi Flick’s treble-winners owing to the Englishman demanding a huge wage bump in the region of £100,000-per-week as the Bundesliga giants continue to stall over conceding to the attacker’s demands.

According to reports from Goal, Musiala’s current deal with the Allianz Arena outfit runs out in less than 18 months and the ongoing situation has alerted Liverpool FC to the possibility of making a swoop for the wantaway prospect.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been linked with a host of highly-promising names in world football over the last few months, including the likes of Borussia Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland and RC Lens’ first-teamer Loic Bade.

Musiala had turned out in the Chelsea youth academy prior to sealing a move to German top-flight football and his impressive run of form over the course of his 18 league outings across the 2020-21 season has made the England Under-21 international a force to reckon with in the coming years.
