Liverpool have completed the deal with AS Monaco for Takumi Minamino’s transfer with Jurgen Klopp’s side in line to pocket €15 million plus a further €3 million in add-ons.
Minamino was heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in this summer’s window with the Japan international failing to secure regular first-team football under Klopp since he linked up with the Reds in January 2020.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has sounded out the confirmation on the talks between Liverpool and French top flight side Monaco who are set to land Minamino’s signature ahead of other suitors in the race for the forward.
Monaco had made the Liverpool outcast a top name on their wishlist for the summer with the Ligue 1 outfit looking to add to their options in the final third of the pitch by dipping into the market.
The 27-year-old Minamino was Liverpool’s top scorer in domestic cup competitions last term with his seven goals proving to be of much importance to Jurgen Klopp’s Reds who won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
