Liverpool have confirmed the signing of longstanding target Luis Diaz from FC Porto in a long-term deal which is expected to run until the summer of 2027.
Diaz has been the top name on the shopping list at Anfield in the soon to be closed January transfer window with Jurgen Klopp on the lookout for reinforcements in the final third to bolster his ranks.

The Columbia international had been in flying form so far this season for FC Porto with 14 goals in 18 league outings which earned him the ticket to the Premier League with Liverpool snapping up his signature, confirmed an official statement on the club’s official website.
Liverpool’s latest signing will don the No.23 jersey and will make the move to Merseyside following the completion of his international duty with Colombia who square up against Argentina in the World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
The Reds will be in the fray to make another capture in the market ahead of Monday’s deadline, suggests the speculation, with Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders closing in on Fulham teenager Fabio Carvalho.
