Liverpool could face Dortmund challenge in their pursuit of the in-demand Alexander Isak

German giants Borussia Dortmund hold the key to the transfer situation of the in-demand star forward Alexander Isak this summer with the Bundesliga outfit enjoying a buy-back option on the player.

Reports from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo claim that the 21-year-old Isak who is courting interest from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea is open to sealing a big-money move to the Premier League in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Liverpool’s interest in the Swedish international has brewed up of late with the Merseysiders on the hunt for a fresh attacking face as Jurgen Klopp remains keen on bolstering his options up top on the pitch in time for the start of the new season.

Isak’s recent run of form at the Euros has made him a top name on Klopp’s wishlist for the summer but with Dortmund’s £25.9 million worth buy-back clause on their former player, the Reds gaffer could find it difficult to land his target.

The Anfield giants have also been linked with a move for another attacking name who has shone at the European Championships in Italy’s Domenico Berardi who plays for Serie A outfit Sassuolo.
