Liverpool could move in for Aston Villa’s midfield talent Carney Chukwuemeka who is out of contract at Villa come next summer and has rejected offers to extend his stay.
The 18-year-old starlet is a coveted name in the transfer market with some of the biggest clubs across the land chasing his signature as Liverpool look to bring him in and bolster their ranks.
According to a claim from The Liverpool Echo, Liverpool could attempt to sign the talented teenager in the forthcoming transfer windows with Chukwuemeka highly thought of at Anfield following his breakout in the Aston Villa fold.
He faces an uncertain future with Steven Gerrard’s side beyond the end of the 2022-23 campaign with repeated attempts made by the Villa Park outfit rebuffed time and again as Chukwuemeka eyes a move to a bigger club.
The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the Aston Villa contract rebel with Liverpool set to face intense competition in their pursuit of the England U19 international.
