Liverpool are credited with an interest in moving in for the highly-rated Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus, according to a report from Fichajes ( via The Liverpool Echo).
Neuhaus is one name who has been linked with a move to Anfield in the recent past with the Germany international maestro finding a huge admirer in the Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds are not expected to open their chequebook once again in this summer’s transfer window so it comes as a surprise to hear rumours of Neuhaus being wanted by Klopp and Co. who remain on the hunt for a new midfield recruit.
Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham is understood to be a priority target on Merseyside for Klopp but the former is set to stay put with the Bundesliga giants beyond the summer window even in the case of a ‘crazy offer’ from his suitors.
Klopp has made Bellingham a top name on his shopping list for the forthcoming transfer windows but the Reds manager will face competition from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City for signing the English midfield prodigy.
