Liverpool FC are due tough competition from the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as the Premier League trio battle each other for the signing of Torino talisman Andrea Belotti.
The Italy international’s current deal with Torino expires next summer and with the forward believed to be keen on seeking an exit ahead of the 2021-22 season, English sides have been alerted to the possibility of making a move for the 27-year-old.
Reports from Italian outlet Tuttosport claim that Belotti’s signature is much coveted in the transfer market with AC Milan, Inter Milan, Roma, and Lyon all registering interest in signing the Italian attacker who has found the back of the net 12 times in 29 top-flight outings this season.
Jurgen Klopp is understood to be on the hunt for attacking reinforcements this summer with his Merseysiders enduring a dismal campaign on all fronts which could eventually finish with no Champions League football for the Anfield outfit.
Liverpool FC’s drop in attacking standards were on show during the weekend draw on their own patch against Newcastle United in a game where chances enjoyed by the hosts were aplenty but to no avail as the Reds frontline failed to make the most of them to put the match to bed after taking an early lead through Mohammad Salah.
