Liverpool have reportedly joined the fray for the highly-rated Bundesliga star Moussa Diaby who has been a star turn for his side Bayer Leverkusen.
Jurgen Klopp has been urged by a large section of the Liverpool fanbase to bolster his options in the attacking department with the likes of Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane often enduring a patchy spell of form in front of the goal.
Reports from Italian news outlet Calciomercato have claimed that Leverkusen star forward Diaby has emerged as the name on Liverpool’s transfer radar ahead of the next summer’s transfer window.
The Frenchman has put out a terrific run of showings in front of the goal for the Bundesliga outfit which has made Liverpool take note of his ability and register an interest in making a move for the player.
Diaby made the move to Leverkusen in 2019 from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain and has scored 22 goals in 91 outings since then, staking his claim as one of the top attacking talents in Germany’s top flight.
