Liverpool are said to be eyeing up a move for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz who also has Spanish duo Barcelona and Real Madrid in the mix for signature.
The 19-year-old German international has been a top player in the Bundesliga and he could be on the move soon with some of Europe’s biggest clubs keeping tabs on him ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

Despite Leverkusen appearing confident that Wirtz would not be in line to force a move away from the BayArena come the summer, Liverpool have been credited with a strong interest in luring the teenager to Anfield later this year.
According to a recent claim from the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds could be seen fending off competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid in three horse race for the highly rated Wirtz’s signature.
The midfielder has been in stellar form since his return from an ACL injury with eight goals in 13 games across all competitions to his name as Leverkusen remain convinced that Wirtz would be keen to stay put for at least another season.
