Liverpool face challenge from Man United for signing Brighton star Moises Caicedo

Liverpool face a tough challenge on the transfer front from Manchester United for signing the sought after Brighton star Moises Caicedo.

The Ecuadorian talent has been making a name for himself in the Premier League following his stellar run of displays at the Amex which has led to Liverpool registering their interest in signing the youngster.

According to a report from Sky Sports Deutschland ( via teamTALK), it is claimed that Liverpool will be joined by rivals Manchester United in the chase for Caicedo’s signature ahead of summer 2023.

Caicedo has his current terms with Brighton are not due to expire until 2025 and it remains to be seen whether Brighton will demand a hefty price tag to green light the transfer of Caicedo with competition heating up to secure the midfielder’s services.

The Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp is looking to overhaul his options in the centre of the park with the likes of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season.
