According to a report from A Bola, it is claimed that Liverpool and North London giants Tottenham Hotspur will be joined by Serie A duo Napoli and Juventus in the chase to secure Silva’s transfer in the coming transfer windows.
The Reds have a strong defensive lineup following the snapping up of Ibrahima Konate last year but rumours have persisted over the long-term future of England international Joe Gomez despite him penning a new deal in the summer.
Gomez has failed to cement his berth on the Liverpool team sheet in recent times with Konate pipping the former to the third choice option at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal behind Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip.
