Liverpool face heavy competition from Premier League big boys Arsenal and Chelsea to sign Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah this summer.
Musah has been a stellar performer for Valencia despite the Spanish club’s struggles this season which has them entrenched in a relegation battle in the top flight amid fan protests against owner Peter Lim.
According to a report from 90min, the highly promising midfielder could be on his way to England with a host of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on his situation which could make for an exciting contest when the transfer window reopens for business.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are considered one of the leading contenders for Musah’s services but with the Premier League table toppers Arsenal also in the mix, Liverpool are unlikely to face an easy task in walking away with the signing of the Valencia starlet.
Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old before the 2022 World Cup while there is the opportunity for Musah to stay in Spain with Atletico Madrid also known to be his admirers in the market.
