Liverpool FC’s ever-increasing troubles on the injury front could be diminishing soon as the trio of Thiago Alcantara, James Milner, and Xherdan Shaqiri staged a return to first-team training on Wednesday at the AXA Training Centre.
Reports from the club’s official website, Liverpoolfc.com, confirm that the previously injured trio were involved in training sessions alongside a number of their teammates as Jurgen Klopp’s men get ready to play hosts to Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
All three players had been sidelined for a significant period of time, giving Klopp a major headache on his limited rotation options in the first-team ranks at Anfield.

Thiago Alcantara’s return to the senior squad fold would be much awaited by the Liverpool FC fanbase, with this summer’s marquee signing for the Merseysiders not having featured since October’s derby clash against Everton following a hamstring blow.
Meanwhile, Milner and Shaqiri have sustained minor injury niggles since November, forcing Klopp to turn to fringe players in his squad.
