Liverpool goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski joins Dutch side Den Bosch on loan

As revealed by the club’s official website, Liverpool goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski has embarked on his third loan stint, this time in the Netherlands for the 2023/24 season.

Having initially arrived at Liverpool from Legia Warsaw in 2019, Ojrzynski had previously undertaken loan spells in Wales and his home country of Poland over the past two seasons.

However, during his most recent loan with Radomiak Radom, he encountered limited chances, leading to the premature termination of his deal in January after making only three appearances.

Excluded from Liverpool’s preseason travel squads to Germany and Singapore, Ojrzynski has been working with the under-21 team recently. During this period, Vitezslav Jaros, Marcelo Pitaluga, and Fabian Mrozek were selected instead.

In recent times, Ojrzynski underwent a trial with Dutch club FC Den Bosch. He has now secured a move following impressive performances in friendlies against Beerschot and SC Telstar.

Liverpool have confirmed that the youngster will join Den Bosch in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, for the 2023/24 season. The team finished 19th in the league last season.

However, since there is no conventional relegation, the team will continue to compete in the Eerste Divisie and aim for a more successful season with the Reds star as their goalkeeper.

At the age of 20, the player will vie for the No. 1 position alongside fellow new signing Joey Roggeveen, a former Ajax goalkeeper. The season commences with a home match against TOP Oss on August 11.
