Liverpool have a €37.5 million buy option clause for loan signing Arthur should the Reds want to make the midfielder’s move to Anfield permanent come next summer.
Jurgen Klopp’s side brought in the 26-year-old from Serie A giants Juventus on deadline day as an emergency signing to add to the injury-stricken midfield options for Klopp early on in the new season.

According to the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, it is understood that Liverpool have negotiated the possibility of paying the clause, worth €37.5 million, in two years with Arthur open to the idea of signing for the Merseysiders.
It remains to be seen whether Arthur grows into an influential role at Anfield amid the injury crisis Liverpool are struggling with just six games into the Premier League campaign with key players on the sidelines.
Should Liverpool choose to take advantage of the option-to-buy clause in Arthur’s loan terms, Klopp could be forced to look away from his long-standing transfer target in the Borussia Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham.
