Liverpool have registered interest in signing Wolves star forward Pedro Neto

Liverpool have claimed to be interested in signing Wolves star forward Pedro Neto in this summer’s transfer window with the player a target for a host of clubs across the continent.

Jurgen Klopp’s Merseyside outfit are joined by the likes of fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and Serie A giants Juventus in the race to land Neto’s signature on the back of his influential campaign last time around.

The Portuguese wide player was one of the best performers in the Wolves camp despite the club’s otherwise uninspiring set of displays in Premier League football where they could only manage a 13th-placed finish in the league standings.

With Liverpool backed to use the transfer window to bring in attacking reinforcements ahead of the next season’s commencement, reports from 90min have suggested that the Merseysiders have made an enquiry into signing the 21-year-old Neto this summer.

Liverpool’s sale of Harry Wilson to Championship club Fulham is more likely to lure Klopp into making a move for an attacker in the transfer window with the Reds gaffer resigned to the possibility of losing another forward player in Xherdan Shaqiri before the window slams shut.
