Liverpool identity Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic as a replacement for Sadio Mane whose exit from the Anfield fold looks imminent this summer.
Mane is closing in on a transfer to German heavyweights Bayern Munich with Liverpool’s attempts to tie Mane down to extended terms beyond 2023 rebuffed by the Senegal international and his representatives.

According to BILD’s Christian Falk, the Anfield giants are looking at the unsettled Chelsea wide player Christian Pulisic to fill the void that would be left by Mane’s departure with the latter establishing himself as one of Jurgen Klopp’s most important players.
Pulisic is understood to be fretting over his lack of regular first-team action at Stamford Bridge over the last year and the American international is backed to hold talks with the Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel over this situation sooner rather than later.
Liverpool, however, would be expected to fend off increasing competition for the former Dortmund player who has courted interest from Italy with the likes of AC Milan and Juventus keeping close tabs ahead of a possible approach for his services.
