Reports from France claim that Liverpool are in line to table a bid for one of the most in-demand players in the market in Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni.
The young midfield talent has attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs across Europe with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid keeping close tabs on his contract situation.
Joining the aforementioned trio are Liverpool, according to claims from French news outlet RMC Sport, with Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders set to make a move for Tchouameni in the summer window.
Monaco value their first-team star in the region of €60 million to €100 million which is likely to come as a blow on the pricing front to Liverpool who are due to spend big on Luis Diaz’s signing ahead of Monday’s deadline day.
The 25-year-old Columbian winger is closing in on a move to Anfield and pen a deal until the summer of 2027 with the Reds set to fork out €45 million and an extra €15m in performance-related add-ons to FC Porto.
