Liverpool are understood to be in the fray for Inter Milan contract rebel Marcelo Brozovic who is seeking a new destination come the summer.
The Croatia international midfield man is out of contract at San Siro when the season comes to a close and some of Europe’s biggest clubs have thrown their hat in the rang for his signature.
Joining the pack are Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, according to a report from the Spanish news outlet Fichajes, which claims that the Anfield camp are keeping close tabs on Brozovic’s contract situation in Milan.
Klopp lost his long-serving midfield general Gini Wijnaldum on a free transfer to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain last summer and the Liverpool boss is rumoured to be on the hunt for reinforcements to add to his options in the middle of the pitch.
The 29-year-old Brozovic has been one of the top performers for Inter in recent times and would be facing his suitors Liverpool in the forthcoming Round of 16 second leg tie in the Champions League in March.
