Jurgen Klopp is in the transfer market for players to bolster his attacking line at Anfield as the Liverpool boss prepares to lose Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri with both forwards seeking summer exits.
Reports from Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic who netted 21 goals last season in 37 top-flight outings is on Liverpool’s radar for the ongoing summer transfer window.
Vlahovic has sounded out assurances in the past that he sees his immediate future at the Serie A side but with interest from the Premier League clubs growing in Serbian international, he might find it difficult to fend it off.
The 21-year-old Fiorentina man has already been capped twice by his national team for which he has found the back of the net twice as he makes his name in Europe as one of the most potent finishers in the final third of the pitch.
Liverpool, however, are due some tough competition from AC Milan in the race to sign Vlahovic should Milan lose out on their long-term transfer target Olivier Giroud who recently agreed to a year-long extension at Stamford Bridge.
