Liverpool are said to be interested in striking a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni who is out of favour at the Bernebeu.
The Merseysiders have a long-standing interest in the midfielder who chose to rebuff a move to Anfield last year to sign for Real Madrid in a deal that could eventually reach €100 million.
According to a report from 90min, it is claimed that Liverpool have informed the Real camp of their willingness to move in for the France international Tchouameni with Real planning to bring in a fresh pair of legs for their engine room in Jude Bellingham.
Real stalwarts Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are expected to extend their contracts in the Spanish capital city which would make the competition for midfield places more fierce than before and could set the stage for Tchouameni’s exit.
A loan move for the 23-year-old could be of much help to Liverpool who are expected to enter the summer transfer window with the plans to overhaul their squad and bring in at least two to three new faces.
