Liverpool have reportedly joined the race for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli who has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the recent past.
Manuel Locatelli has no shortage of suitors in England’s top flight with the likes of Arsenal and West Ham United keen to move in for the Italy international after his shaky start to life in Turin.
The midfielder, however, does not have his heart set on a move to Arsenal with the 24-year-old deciding against leaving Juventus anytime soon which could hamper Liverpool’s plans of signing Locatelli.
According to a report from Goal, it is claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders have registered their interest in Locatelli’s signature with Klopp on the hunt for reinforcements to bolster his midfield roster midway through the campaign.
The Reds have struggled to match their usual heights so far this season and could be looking to dip into the market when the transfer window reopens for business in the New Year for a new signing to provide Klopp with much-needed fresh impetus.
