Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko alongside Premier League foes Manchester United.
Moukoko has grown into a coveted name in the transfer market on the back of his prolific form in front of the goal since breaking through at Dortmund which has earned him comparisons with Erling Haaland.
He has netted six goals in all competitions for Dortmund so far this campaign and was named in the Germany squad for the World Cup event in Qatar later this month which has piqued interest in his signature from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
According to a report from the German publication BILD, it is claimed that Premier League heavyweights Liverpool and Manchester United are keen to make a move for the teenage talent who is out of contract at Dortmund come next summer.
Moukoko’s current terms with the Bundesliga outfit are due to run out at the end of the season which could ensure his suitors to fast-track their plans of opening talks with the player and his camp and bring him on a free transfer.
