Liverpool are keen to sign Chelsea contract rebel N’Golo Kante who has rejected a new deal at Stamford Bridge and could be on the move in the summer.
The Reds are in dire need of reinforcements to freshen things up in the centre of the park following an inconsistent season so far from Jurgen Klopp’s side who were in the fray for as many as four trophies last term.
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham remains Liverpool’s top target ahead of the summer window but failure to qualify for the Champions League could make it harder for Klopp to land his desired players.
According to a report from the Spanish publication Nacional ( via football365), it is claimed that Kante has emerged as a viable option for the Anfield giants with Klopp a big admirer of the former Leicester City midfielder’s ability.
Despite his injury concerns this season which has curtailed his game time at Stamford Bridge, Kante is considered one of the top players in the midfield position across Europe and could court serious interest from Liverpool in the coming months.
