Liverpool are tipped to be keeping close tabs on the highly-rated Rennes forward Martin Terrier with Sadio Mane’s potential exit in mind.
Mane, following a six-year successful stint at Anfield, is closing in on a move to German giants Bayern Munich with the Senegal international seeking a new challenge in his playing career beyond this summer.
This turn of events has forced the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to go on the hunt for a viable replacement to fill the void which is sure to be created by the departure of Mane who has been one of the most influential names in the Liverpool shirt.
Bayern are in line to replace their dangerman Robert Lewandowski with the Liverpool forward who instead could be set to hand his key role in the Anfield fold to 21-goal Ligue 1 talent Terrier, according to The Daily Mirror.
The  25-year-old’s showings in France’s top flight has earned him rave reviews and could well be his ticket to the Premier League with Liverpool backed to make an approach sooner rather than later should Mane’s situation go ahead.
