Liverpool are reportedly keeping close tabs on La Liga talent Gabri Veiga who has enjoyed a breakout season in Spain at the age of just 20.
Veiga’s name is on the shopping list of several clubs across Europe who are waiting eagerly in the wings to move for the youngsters signature when the transfer window reopens later this year.
According to a report from Cadena Ser‘s El Larguero ( via TeamTalk), it is claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are one of the contenders vying for the Celta Vigo midfielder as Liverpool look to rebuild their midfield roster over the summer.
Klopp is out to induct fresh blood to his engine room and Veiga could be one of the players who can provide the Liverpool manager with that extra impetus in the heart of the midfield which has been lacking this season.
The 20-year-old has scored nine goals already this campaign and has a €40 million release clause in his contract which makes him a more appealing target to his suitors which also include Man Utd and Arsenal.
