Liverpool are understood to be keeping close tabs on longstanding target Federico Chiesa who is linked with a move away from Juventus in the near future.
Jurgen Klopp’s camp have been credited with a strong interest in landing the Italy international from Juventus with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City also looking at Chiesa as a viable target for the next summer.
According to reports from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, Liverpool are in the market for a new winger and Chiesa is rumoured to be one of the top names on the shopping list for the boss Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp’s search for reinforcements in the attacking department has been well-documented with the German hoping to add to his forward options in light of the recent injury trouble for Roberto Firmino who has hurt his hamstring.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will both be set for AFCON duty come January leaving Klopp bereft of quality talent in the final third of the pitch as speculation suggests the Liverpool gaffer could be forced to bring in fresh blood in the winter transfer window.
