Liverpool keeping close tabs on Salzburg starlet Benjamin Sesko

Liverpool are reportedly keeping close tabs on Salzburg starlet Benjamin Sesko who has been an influential performer for the Austrian outfit this season.

Dubbed as ‘Mini-Haaland’, Sesko has drawn comparisons to the ex-Salzburg man Haaland who has grown into one of the most feared strikers in world football since making the move to Borussia Dortmund.

A report from Goal has claimed that Liverpool find themselves right in the mix for Sesko’s signature with the 18-year-old forward also wanted by the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich and Juventus.

The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has long been in the transfer market for attacking reinforcements to bolster this ranks despite bringing in the highly-rated Columbian Luis Diaz in the January transfer window from FC Porto.

Diaz has hit the ground running in a spectacular manner after his switch to England’s top flight with the 25-year-old winger earning regular game time at Anfield owing to injury troubles for his strike partners Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino.
