Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Bayern Munich star forward Serge Gnabry who has been involved in a contract standoff with the Bavarians of late.
The Germany international winger could be heading out the exit door this summer should Bayern choose to cash in on him in a cut-price deal rather than lose him to a free transfer in 2023.
Jurgen Klopp acquired his longstanding target Luiz Diaz from FC Porto in the recently concluded January transfer window to bolster his attacking ranks but the Liverpool boss could be tempted to make a swoop for Gnabry’s signature.
According to reports from Sky Sports Germany, it is claimed that Liverpool and Manchester United are amongst some of Europe’s biggest clubs showing an interest in Gnabry who has been holding out for a major wage hike to pen extended terms with Bayern.
The Bundesliga heavyweights are unlikely to cede to the former Arsenal man’s demands on the salary front with Gnabry keen on pocketing the same as his teammates Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane.
