Liverpool are keeping tabs on Benfica duo Antonio Silva and Florentino Luis with the Reds’ scouts in attendance during Benfica’s recent league fixture with Famalicao.
Benfica have been in stellar in their displays this season and the 2-0 win over Famalicao on Friday saw the Eagles go eight points clear at the top of the standings while also booking their place in the Champions League quarter finals.
According to a report from 90min, two of Benfica’s young talents- Antonio Silva and Florentino Luis, have caught the attention of Premier League bigwigs Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
The 19-year-old centre-back Silva has enjoyed a fine breakout campaign for Benfica this term which also ensured his selection for Portugal’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup last year as he became his country’s youngest player to feature in the tournament.
Luis, meanwhile, has put out consistent performances for Benfica after spending the last two seasons out on loan at Monaco and Getafe respectively and the 23-year-old midfield man could be set for a move elsewhere in the near future.
