Jonathan David’s transfer situation is of interest to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool who remain on the hunt for fresh attacking blood in this summer’s transfer window.
David is rumoured to be keen on calling it quits at the Ligue 1 holders this summer and with the club facing issues on the financial front, the 21-year-old Canadian forward could be looking for a move to the Premier League.
English sources tell @TSN_Sports, if Lille look to sell Canadian striker Jonathan David to raise funds because of the club’s financial challenges, Liverpool has David very high on the team’s list of potential strikers. Liverpool has long kept tabs on the Canadian’s development.

Reports from TSN Sports claim that Liverpool are keeping close tabs on David’s current status and could be in the fray to land his signature should Lille give the nod for his sale before the transfer window slams shut later this month.
Liverpool have been linked with a host of forward players since the window opened this summer but are yet to open their chequebook to bring in some much-needed firepower for Jurgen Klopp’s attacking department.
Klopp has already bid goodbyes to Harry Wilson who has made the move to Fulham on a permanent basis and the Reds look resigned to losing Xherdan Shaqiri who is a prime target for Serie A giants Lazio.
