Liverpool-linked Ryan Gravenberch admits he could leave Bayern Munich

Liverpool-linked Ryan Gravenberch has admitted that he is frustrated with his lack of regular game time at Bayern Munich in a boost to Liverpool’s pursuit of the Dutch midfielder.

Gravenberch has emerged as a top name on the summer shopping list for the Reds and Jurgen Klopp who are desperate to overhaul their midfield ranks before the next season gets underway.

Speaking to VI, the Bayern midfielder made it clear that he wants to be playing on a regular basis, with Gravenberch being handed just one start in the Bundesliga since making the move to Bayern last summer from Ajax.

“A year of training and playing at top level is beautiful and instructive.

“Although playing, it is mainly training. That has to change next season, then I really want to play weekly again.

“I haven’t spoken to the club management yet, so just wait and see what happens. But it is clear that this role does not match my expectations.”

The Reds will hope to move up the ladder to sign the 20-year-old Holland international over the summer with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United also throwing their hat in the ring for the in-demand player.

An escape route from the Bavarian outfit could be on the cards for Gravenberch who wants a spot on the team sheet in the Bayern shirt which has been hard to come his way so far.
