Paul Pogba is claimed to be on Liverpool’s transfer radar for the next summer window with the Frenchman’s deal at Manchester United coming to a close at the end of the 2021-22 season.
Jurgen Klopp has been backed to use the ongoing transfer window to bring in a fresh face for his midfield department which has witnessed the departure of Gini Wijnaldum from Anfield to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
The Dutchman’s exit from Merseyside leaves Klopp with a major void to fill in the centre of the park at Anfield and Liverpool are rumoured to be on the hunt for his replacement with players like Brighton’s Yves Bissouma linked with a transfer to the Premier League giants.
Reports from The Express, however, suggest that the World Cup-winning star midfielder Pogba could also be one name in the transfer market of interest to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool when the player’s deal at Old Trafford runs out next summer.
With skipper Jordan Henderson’s future subject to much uncertainty as of late, a move for Pogba, which would be very ambitious for Liverpool in the transfer market, could set things in store for Jurgen Klopp.
