Liverpool are claimed to be looking for a bid north of £12 million to offload fringe defensive name Nat Phillips in the January window now underway.
The 24-year-old is heavily linked with a move away from the Anfield fold sooner rather than later with the likes of West Ham United, Burnley and Newcastle United credited with an interest in the Reds first-teamer.
According to reports from The Liverpool Echo, it is suggested that the outgoing Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards will be keen on pocketing a fee somewhere between £12-15 million for the signature of the wantaway Phillips.
A new long-term deal penned on Merseyside in the summer by the central defender adds to his value in the market despite having turned out just three times under Jurgen Klopp midway through this campaign.
Phillips, however, was a standout performer at Anfield towards the backend of the 2020-21 season with an injury crisis forcing Klopp to give the Englishman an extended run of first-team football to great results and an eventual Champions League berth.
