West Ham United are speculated to be keeping close tabs on Liverpool’s out-of-favour midfield man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain whom they want to sign this summer on a season-long loan deal.
Reports from The Express suggest that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is braced for an offer coming his way from the London Stadium where Chamberlain is one of the top names on their shopping list for the transfer window currently in full swing.
Chamberlain’s hard luck with a spree of injury issues has made him fall down the pecking order at Anfield which has seen his first-team involvement become sparse over the past couple of seasons in the Liverpool shirt.
Talk of Klopp shipping out the former Arsenal star first-teamer has gained ground as of late and West Ham United who are on the lookout for a fresh midfield face after Jese Lingard’s return to his parent club Manchester United are understood to be eyeing up a move for the Reds player.
It remains to be seen whether Klopp will be willing to part ways with Chamberlain ahead of the start of the new season in which the England international can be counted upon to make a difference should he stay clear of his injury niggles.
