Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is viewed as the ideal Paul Pogba partner by Juventus who are keen on moving in for the Anfield star this summer.
Keita enters the final 12 months of his terms at Anfield this coming season and there is speculation doing the rounds that Jurgen Klopp’s Reds could be forced into an early sale of the former Leipzig midfielder.
Juventus, who are set for re-signing the World Cup-winning maestro Paul Pogba following his exit from Manchester United, are credited with a strong interest in the signature of the 27-year-old Keita, according to a report from Calciomercato.
With Liverpool keeping close tabs on Juventus first-teamer Adrien Rabiot, the Italian heavyweights are mulling over a swap deal involving Keita and Rabiot with the latter said to be a name scouted by the Liverpool camp in recent weeks.
Klopp has been tipped to dip into the transfer market one final time before the next season kicks off with the Liverpool boss hoping to bolster his options in the heart of the midfield.
