Liverpool are understood to be monitoring the situation of RB Salzburg dangerman Noah Okafor who could be heading for the exit door in the upcoming January transfer window.
Okafor has netted ten goals and provided two assists in 22 matches so far this season on the back of a stellar campaign last time out which saw him bag  25 goal contributions across 34 outings.
According to a report from TeamTalk, it is claimed that the 22-year-old, who will be heading into the World Cup in Qatar with the Switzerland squad, has emerged on the transfer radar at Anfield ahead of the opening of the tournament.
Liverpool will be joined by arch rivals Manchester City and the Italian champions AC Milan in the mix for Okafor who has been previously eyed up by the likes of Arsenal and Leeds United following his impressive run of form in the Salzburg colours.
His terms with the Austrian giants are due to run out in the summer of 2024 and with interest in his services from elsewhere gaining ground, Okafor is likely to be keen on a big-ticket move to a new destination.
