According to Fichajes, English giants Liverpool are ready to offer £130 million to sign Real Madrid star Federico Valverde.
Several Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are linked with a move for the Uruguayan international.
However, the Spanish outfit have no intention to sell the 25-year-old as they want to protect their important assets.
Madrid does not need investments due to their strong financial position and hence, there is no urgent need to sell any of their star players. Hence, it will be even more difficult for Liverpool to convince the Los Blancos to part ways with Valverde.
The South American sensation has been a key player for the La Liga outfit and he most recently scored a wonderful volley against Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final first-leg clash.

He will be aiming to stay put and win major titles at Santiago Bernabeu in the years to come. Although Liverpool are also genuine title contenders, Valverde seems to be comfortable in Madrid and it will not be easy to lure him to Anfield.
The Reds need a replacement for Thiago Alcantara, who would prefer to leave the club this summer. Valverde’s versatility will help him cover a variety of roles at Liverpool.
He has proved his ability to contribute to attack and defence. The Madrid star has two goals and eight assists to his name this campaign and he could add more in the upcoming months.
The experienced player has the physical qualities to suit Liverpool’s brand of football. With his peak years ahead of him, his suitors will benefit from his presence.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Reds are ready to splash such a huge amount of money to sign a single player in the upcoming summer transfer window. The player’s contract will expire in 2029 and hence, the player is not in a hurry to make a move.
Neither Valverde nor his agent has talked about his future and everything else remains rumours for now.
