Transfer could be worth £65m this summer with their lucrative deal in place on their forward Dominic Solanke.
This might happen even if Liverpool does not own the player anymore due to his departure.
According to The Athletic, the possibility of Solanke, who plays for Bournemouth at the moment, leaving the club in the summer is not ruled out.
But Bournemouth is not willing to let go of their star striker for the next season who netted a total of 19 goals in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, Bournemouth can keep Solanke because he has a £65m release clause that allows him to leave at any time. This has always been very healthy for transfers if a team meets this clause, Solanke will be free to go.
However, there is always a catch when it comes to something that is too good to be true. The clause only operates in certain circumstances although the particular club is not stated. That is probably why Liverpool is one of these clubs because they sold Solanke to Bournemouth.

Liverpool has a buyback clause in the first deal which has expired at the time of writing this paper.
Nonetheless, Liverpool retains an option that allows them to take 20 percent of the profits in case the player is sold later on. The clause begins when the price of the sale is above £19m, which was the amount Bournemouth paid for Solanke.
Since Bournemouth are not going to sell the player for a lower price than the release clause, Liverpool comes out as the better side financially.
Thus, if Solanke’s release clause is to be fulfilled, the profit will be £46m. Depending on this figure, Liverpool would be given £9m, which is 20 per cent of the said amount in every transfer deal. This would be a potential boost for Liverpool if Solanke departs in the current transfer window.
Everyone knows Solanke only left Liverpool six years ago and has not achieved anything impressive there.
At Liverpool, he always remained more of a talent and never got the right blend in the team. He had severe stiff competition from Liverpool’s well-settled and performing attacking triplet.
