Rumors linking Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr with a move to Liverpool FC this summer refuse to die down. According to recent reports, the Reds have intensified their initial transfer approach for the Senegalese International.
However, a formal bid is yet to be tabled by the Premier League champions for Sarr ahead of next season. Despite this, speculation suggests that Jurgen Klopp’s side have reached out to the 22-year old winger’s representatives over a possible summer swoop for the player.
Liverpool FC, however, are not the only Premier League side interested in securing a move for the Watford star. Crystal Palace too had expressed interest in signing the 22-year old Senegalese this summer. Wolverhampton Wanderers also had been looking at Sarr as an ideal replacement for Adam Traore should the Spaniard leave the club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Sarr’s signing would not be that expensive an affair for the Merseyside Reds. Due to Watford’s relegation to the Championship, the Hornets will be open to the idea of selling certain key players to raise funds for the club’s operations.
The 22-year old winger had played a pivotal role in Watford’s 3-0 victory over Jurgen Klopp’s side earlier this year. The loss suffered by the Reds that night at the Vicarage Road had ended their dreams of finishing the Premier League season unbeaten. Sarr had scored twice in that game, and had assisted Troy Deeney for the third.
