Lorenzo Insigne could be a new name on Liverpool’s transfer radar for this summer with reports from Tuttosport claiming that with just a year to go on his current Napoli deal, the in-form forward may be looking for a move elsewhere.
Insigne has been one of the top attacking talents in Serie A football in recent years and his showings for Italy at the ongoing UEFA European Championships have made him a player to watch out for as the tournament heads into the knockout stages.
Liverpool’s need for attacking reinforcements could be of importance to Jurgen Klopp should the fringe likes of Xherdna Shaqiri and Divock Origi, as backed by many, call it quits at Anfield ahead of the next season.

The 30-year-old Insigne might not be the younger option being eyed up by Klopp and Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards but should the Italian be made available by Napoli on a cut-price deal this summer, the Reds will favour themselves to be in the market for his signature.
Klopp has his star-studded frontline of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohammad Salah as his favoured options up top on the pitch with last summer’s recruit Diogo Jota the go-to man to provide cover for either of the three names in the frontline.
