Inter Milan ace Milan Skriniar is being tipped for a potential move to Anfield in January, reports from ESPN suggest.
The Slovakian international has made his name amongst the best centre-backs in world football over the last few years following his great run of form for the Serie A giants. He had been targeted by Tottenham Hotspurs this summer, but a move to the North London outfit failed to materialize over pricing concerns.
With Liverpool FC reeling in loss of Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho to injuries, Jurgen Klopp is rumoured to make a move for a quality centre-back option when the winter transfer window reopens in January, and Skriniar’s name adds to the shortlist of Ben White, Diego Carlos, and Ozan Kabak.
Whether the Merseyside Reds actually sign the Inter Milan defender is just speculation at this point of time, but the player’s price-tag, which is reportedly in the region of £45m, is sure to be of major apprehension to Klopp and the Liverpool FC board.
