Liverpool are ready to meet the salary demands of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount who is believed to be a top target for the Reds ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

According to a report from Goal.com, it is claimed that Liverpool are prepared and able to give Mount the salary he hopes to pocket which suggests that the Chelsea midfielder could be on the move to the Merseyside later this year.
Liverpool do face competition for Mount’s signature with Bayern Munich having also been linked with the 24-year-old following the appointment of former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel to the top job at the Allianz Arena.
