Liverpool have received a major boost in their chase for RB Leipzig loanee Hwang Hee-chan who has been a star turn for Wolves since his summer switch to the Premier League.
The South Korea international, however, has been linked with a move to a bigger club in England’s top flight with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City watching him with great interest.
Wolves are understood to be plotting on converting Hwang’s season-long loan agreement from German outfit RB Leipzig into a permanent deal come January but would face a struggle in their efforts.
According to reports from Football Insider, it is claimed that the Midlanders are cash-strapped and will have to part ways with one of the star regulars in the Molineux camp to launch a bid for Hwang’s signature on a permanent basis.
Such turn of events are likely to come as a shot in the arm Liverpool who are in the transfer market for reinforcements in attack to add quality to the forward lineup at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal.
