Liverpool remain in the mix for Leicester City maestro Youri Tielemans with the Merseysiders branded as a “dark horse” in the race to sign the Belgian midfielder next summer.
Tielemans is out of contract at the King Power Stadium at the end of the season and some of the country’s biggest clubs, including the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, have shown an interest in moving in for his signature.
According to a report from teamTalk, with Liverpool gearing up for a major overhaul of their midfield roster come summer 2023, Tielemans remains a name on the Anfield camp’s shopping list despite the heavy competition on the transfer front.
Liverpool’s midfield trio in James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have their current terms running out at then of the season while summer signing Arthur Melo’s loan spell from Juventus will also conclude.
