Liverpool are set to lose out on signing RB Leipzig’s Konrad Laimer who is keen on a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich come the end of the season.
Laimer had emerged as a top name on Liverpool’s shopping list with the Merseysiders looking to bolster their underwhelming midfield roster by bringing in fresh faces next summer.
According to a report from Sky Sports Germany, it is claimed that Laimer is increasingly likely to link up with the Bavarian heavyweights Bayern than make the move to Anfield to sign for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds.
The Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp is very much on the hunt for reinforcements to add to his midfield options on Merseyside as the German prepares to part ways with Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when their terms expire in 2023.
Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham has been touted as a viable option with the England international expected to return to his homeland sooner rather than later but Liverpool face increasing competition to sign the 19-year-old maestro.
